January at TTL

Happy New Year from TTL! We kicked off 2019 by starting new projects, hosting visitors, and planning for the upcoming year!

Original TTL Traditional Basotho Blankets

Thanks to the hard work of TTL staff and artist Anna Cai, TTL created our own traditional Basotho blanket! These blankets feature TTL’s logo, maize, and traditional Basotho hats. The proceeds from these blankets will go toward vital health and nutrition services for children. If you are in Lesotho and would like to purchase an original blanket, send us an email at fellows@touchingtinylives.org.

Visitors from Sentebale

Sentebale ambassadors Adam and Henry visited us all the way from London! They spent lots of time in our safe home, giving the babies lots of love and attention. They also visited one of our outreach clients and learned about our Happy Beaks program. Thank you so much to Adam and Henry for your visit! We look forward to seeing you again in the future!

New School in Senkoase

This month we received funding from the Addax and Oryx Foundation to construct a new preschool building and school garden in the village of Senkoase! This funding will also provide assistance for five other local preschools – we will be able to provide a monthly snack for the students, chairs for the classroom, educational supplies, and educational toys. We are so excited to start this project and thank the Addax and Oryx Foundation for their tremendous support!
