This year, TTL is celebrating it’s 18th birthday. Take a moment to think about it… that’s quite an accomplishment!

Since 2004, TTL has worked with and assisted 3,103 children. It’s unfortunate, but true, that without TTL, many of these children would not be alive today. In recognition of all the children who have been given the opportunity to grow up and reach their full potential because of our work, this year, for our 18th birthday, our theme is: #growingupwithTTL.

Because of the state of the economy, the lasting effects of COVID-19, as well as harsh weather conditions, the people of Mokhotlong are struggling more than ever before. Cases of malnutrition in children are soaring at alarming rates, HIV/AIDS and other health concerns continue to affect thousands of children across Lesotho, and families, due to lack of employment and other compounding issues, are struggling to provide the basic necessities required for their children’s healthy development.

Here at TTL, we believe that every child deserves every chance to survive, regardless of the odds. For 18 years, we have been dedicated to providing proper nutrition, medication, and care to vulnerable children and to providing education and resources to families to help bring about sustainable change.

Your support is vital as we rely on donors, like you, to sustain our organization. Your donation allows us to continue helping vulnerable children and families in Mokhotlong. Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Help us give more children the ability to reach their full potential.

What can your donation do?

  • $18 = covers the hospital bill for a child with a severe case of malnutrition
  • $180 = pays for a month’s salary for one of our incredible caregivers
  • $1,800 = provides 100 food packages to clients in our Outreach program
  • $18,000 = funds Safe Home operations for 6 months

From all of us here at TTL, rea leboha haholo (“we thank you so much,” in Sesotho).
